Kale Sprouts Seeds

Kale sprouts are tender and mild, with a gentle brassica sweetness and none of the toughness of the mature leaf. They germinate in three to five days and are ready in six to eight, an easy way to keep something green on the plate through winter.

The seed is cleaned and sized for sprouting, so it germinates evenly and gives a full stand. Kale takes light well, so move the tray somewhere bright for the last day or two and the leaves colour up nicely.

How to Sprout

1. Rinse the seeds and soak them in clean water for 4 to 6 hours.
2. Drain well and spread the seeds evenly in a sprouting tray or shallow container.
3. Keep them moist with fresh water once or twice daily. No soil needed.
4. Grow in a bright location, away from direct hot sunlight.
5. Harvest in 6 to 8 days, once the sprouts reach 2 to 4 inches tall.
6. Rinse and enjoy fresh.

Non-GMO and heirloom, and just as good grown on as microgreens.
