Green Pea Sprouts Seeds

Green pea shoots are sweet, crunchy and generous, with thick stems and tendrils that taste like fresh peas straight from the pod. They germinate in two to four days and are ready in seven to ten.

Peas are one of the heaviest yielding crops for the weight of seed sown, so a single tray fills a bowl. Soak well before sowing and keep the tray under a weighted cover for the first days to get straight, even shoots.

• Germination: 2 to 4 days

• Spacing: Dense sow for sprouts
• Height: 3 to 5 inches
• Harvest: 7 to 10 days

How to Sprout

1. Rinse the seeds and soak them in clean water for 8 to 12 hours.
2. Drain well and sow densely across a moist growing medium or sprouting tray.
3. Cover with a second tray or a weighted lid for the first two to three days.
4. Uncover, move into bright light and water once or twice daily.
5. Harvest in 7 to 10 days, cutting just above the seed line.
6. Rinse and enjoy fresh.

Non-GMO and heirloom, and just as good grown on as microgreens.
