Also known as tickseed, coreopsis produces masses of bright golden and mahogany-marked daisy flowers on fine wiry stems above narrow green foliage. Perfect for borders, naturalised plantings, containers, wildflower meadows and pollinator beds, it flowers over a remarkably long season and is one of the easiest and most drought-tolerant flowers you can grow. Regular deadheading or a light shear keeps the display going into autumn. Coreopsis thrives in full sun in average to poor, well-drained soil and asks very little in return.
