Cilantro Sprouts Seeds

$17.99

Fresh, citrusy cilantro sprouts ready in 12 to 18 days. 16 oz resealable pouch.

Description

Cilantro sprouts taste unmistakably of the herb, fresh and citrusy, with the whole flavour concentrated into a small shoot. They germinate in seven to ten days and are ready in twelve to eighteen, the slowest in the range and the most prized.

The seed is a hard husk holding two seeds, so soak it well and expect a long, uneven germination. Keep the tray moist but never wet, and the reward is a flavour nothing else matches.

How to Sprout

  1. Rinse the seeds and soak them in clean water for 4 to 6 hours.
  2. Drain well and sow evenly across a moist growing medium or sprouting tray.
  3. Keep the surface evenly moist with a light misting once or twice a day.
  4. Grow in a bright location, away from direct hot sunlight. These are slow starters, so be patient.

  6. Snip and use fresh.
