All Purpose Potting Soil

A ready to use potting soil blended for containers rather than garden beds. It holds moisture long enough to get a pot through a hot afternoon, but drains freely so roots are never left sitting in water, which is the single most common reason container plants fail.

The mix is light and open straight out of the bag, with peat and composted organic matter for moisture and structure, plus perlite to keep it from packing down over the season. It suits patio pots, window boxes, hanging baskets and indoor plants that have outgrown their containers.

Fill your pot loosely, settle the mix with water rather than pressing it down, and top it up as it settles over the first few weeks.
